What happens? When you need multiple twitter accounts to serve various tweeting needs such as if you want to write personal tweet from different account and blog related tweets from different account. In such case, you have to open multiple accounts using different email addresses. But managing all those email addresses is disgusting and time consuming too. Isn’t it?
If you try to use one email address (that has already a twitter account) for creating another twitter account, it says “This email is already registered.”and you have to use another email address.

But what? If you can create multiple accounts using one email address. Are you surprised? Of course you are. Yes, it is possible using very simple tricks. You need to have a gmail account, if don’t have, create it.
Now sign up to twitter account using your email address (for e.g. demo.user2403@gamil.com). So you have a twitter account with this email address demo.user2403 and now you wish to create another account using the same email address.
There are two ways:
- You need to use (.) sign within the username of your email address.
- You can also use (+) sign within the username of email address.
Let’s see here, how we can actually do it.

We just inserted a dot (.) and twitter will take it as different email address and create a new account for you using the same email address. Your account confirmation mail for twitter will also go to the original email address i.e. demo.user2403@gmail.com. But make sure (.) is inserted before @gmail.com.
In a similar way, you can add plus (+) within the username followed by gmail.com and again it will be considered as different email address will create a new twitter account using the same email address.

The best thing about using same email address for different twitter accounts is that you can manage all of the twitter accounts using same email address for notifications as well as account settings.
We created four twitter accounts using the same email address with different usernames demo_user3, demo_user6, demo_user7 and demo_user11 and you can also see the confirmation mail received for all these three twitter accounts in the same email address.
